FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Clear answers on conditions, timing, documents, security and your rights.
Is the loan guaranteed?
No. No loan is granted without reviewing the application, verifying identity and assessing the ability to repay. Any promise to the contrary would be misleading.
Do I have to pay anything before receiving the funds?
No, never. Social Help Crédit never asks for a payment to “release”, “insure” or “validate” a loan. If someone asks you to in our name, it is a scam: report it to us immediately.
How much can I borrow?
From €200 to €300,000 depending on the solution, or the equivalent in your currency (Swiss franc, pound sterling, kronor, złoty…). The amount granted depends on your budget and, above €75,000, on the collateral provided.
What are the rates?
Indicative APRs start at 2.90% depending on the solution and profile. The final rate appears only in the credit offer and complies with the applicable usury ceiling.
How long does the review take?
A complete file is usually reviewed within 2 to 5 working days. A documented emergency can be handled faster, with no guarantee of approval.
How does peer-to-peer lending work?
We verify the borrower’s identity and affordability and the lender’s identity and source of funds, then draw up a written contract. Money moves through a segregated account at a licensed payment institution: lender and borrower never transfer money to each other directly.
I lend my money: what are the risks?
A loan may not be repaid. You can lose some or all of the capital lent. Only lend what you can afford to lose, and spread it across several loans.
In which currencies can I borrow?
The calculator shows 11 European currencies at the daily ECB rate. The contract is drawn up in a single currency agreed with you; we advise borrowing in the currency of your income to avoid exchange-rate risk.
Can I withdraw?
Yes. For consumer credit you have a 14-day withdrawal period after accepting the offer. The details are set out in the offer.
What if I struggle to repay?
Contact us at the first sign. A rescheduling can be considered. If you are over-indebted, we refer you to the public debt-relief procedure.
Are my documents protected?
Documents are sent via a secure single-use link, encrypted, stored in the EU and accessible only to authorised staff, with access logging.
How do I exercise my GDPR rights?
